1/72 AIRFIX Avro Lancaster B.III

Airfix retired their previous older kit of the Lancaster in 2013 and replaced it with this - the modern tooling kit for the Lancaster Mk I / III family. Pound for pound we rate this as one of the best kits of the Lancaster available today (subjective I know!). 

Wing spar/landing gear engineering is strong and very well suited to supporting the weight of the finished model. 
Features detailed cockpit/nose interior.
Bomb bay can be posed open to show internal detail. 
Detailed landing gear. 

Two options are supplied for a RAAF and RAF Lancaster squadron. 

Definitely a good choice for anyone wanting to model an RAF 'Heavy' (or rather THE RAF Heavy).
